| Please find below the details needed to transfer your emails from Webmail to your Outlook Express (or similar programme!)
First select\'Tools and then select Account Settings These are usually found at the top of the screen where you view your emails on your PC.
Once located follow the instructions on the screen and this will set up an email account in the name you require (i.e The Webchannel)
The details required are as follows:
POP3 settings: mail.your email address.co.uk
STMP settings: mail.your email address.co.uk
Username: email address (different for each individual)
Password: As chosen by the client
Standard, SSL should not be selected.
This is a regular simple POP3 /SMTP account setup.

| 1.Check whether your image is a jpg/jpeg. Our system only uses this format (which is the most common used by digital cameras).
2.Check the image is not more than 2 megbytes in size or more than 2000 pixels across. If it is then resize the image to a smaller size. It is advisable to not use images that are large in this system because each one has to be uploaded and resized so it takes more time. We recomend jpeg\'s of around 1024 x 768 pixels. When taking photos with a digital camera use this setting if possible. |

| 1.Make sure you click the relevant update button for the changes you have made.
2.When you have clicked update on all the sections you have worked on and are ready to view the site you must first click Apply Changes To My Wbsite on the left hand side. |

| You can set up an in-site search facility so your customers and clients can find exactly what they\'re looking for on your website by using a quick search. All you need to do is select section 3 and simply click on the box to \'enable advanced search on your website\'. Update and view your website.

| You can keep all your customers up to date with any news of products, services or events by selecting the Latest News page in section 4. Simply input your text, a date and an optional photo for each item and a news archive will build up. These then click through to detailed news pages. The latest news story can also appear on your home page as above. You can configure items to automatically disappear or appear on certain dates in advance.

| The File Library
Click on option 5 (Optional-use more features) and select File Library
The file library is a tool used to upload files to your website. These files then appear in your hyperlinks dropdown list and enable you to create a link from text or an image to open/download the file from your website.
1. Click on the file library button in the menu
2. In point 1 enter a memorable name for the file you wish to upload then click Create new item
3. Your entry will appear in the list alphabetically so find your new entry and click browse to locate the file you wish to upload on your local hard drive. When you have done this click the relevant update button to the right of Browse
4. Next- go to the page where you require the link to your document.
5. Type in some text or insert an image for your customers to click on to access the file then highlight/select the text or image.
6. Click the hyperlink button on the toolbar (chain icon)
7. Your file will appear in the internal links dropdown prefixed with Files Select the file you require
8. Because you want this to open in a new window and not take your customers away from your website choose Blank from the Target dropdown.
9. Click insert then OK
10. Your changes are now ready to be updated and applied to your website.

| The Webchannel automatically prepopulates the Search engine on your website. This can be found on (Option 4) on the right hand side. Click on this and add additional words if required. Ensure that you have visited www.google.com and looked at their Business solutions. This will give you many ideas on how to increase traffic to your website. Ensure that you have signed up for Google Analytics. This means that Google can start to pick your website up. All you need to do is to join Google, click for Analytics and follow the instructions. They will give you a code which you need to apply to the bottom of ‘Name and Style your website’ (Option 3) This will also help your Google listings. It is really important to have the correct level of expectation for how long it will take to generate traffic when you set up a website, Depending on the nature of site, it can take up to six months to achieve good traffic results. Niche sites will index higher quicker that sites with a lot of competition. Think about an angle which is relevant to your site but which distinguishes you from the competition. Work this into your content pages. |

| 1, Create a photo gallery at the admin page
2, Try to view this photo gallery at the front page, and copy the url using the hyperlink button on the tool bar(That’s the bit at the top of the page that starts with https:// etc) for the photo gallery
3, Add the url to the product description when you add/edit the product information. Make sure you apply and press the ok button. Ensure that you update the screen too.

| Clearing Temporary Internet files
The most common problem that can prevent access to the site is if the temporary internet files on your PC are full. To clear these, please follow the instructions below:
Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools on the menu bar.
Select Internet Options.
From the pop-up screen, go to Temporary Internet files and select Delete Files.
Select the Settings button.
Select Automatically.
Select OK.
Netscape:
Go to Edit on the menu bar.
Select Preferences.
On the left-hand side select the advanced folder and then select Cache.
Clear both Memory and Disk Space.
Select the radio button titled every time.
Select OK.
Please note that with Netscape, we recommend that you use the browser default cache setting of ‘once per session’ when logging in to use your account rather than the ‘every time’ described above. Otherwise you may experience some delays.
